Scones Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
Pinch of salt
3 cups all purpose flour
5 teaspoons of baking powder
1 large egg
1 cup milk
Method
Swift flour, sugar, salt, baking powder in a large bowl.
Cut butter into cubes and mix into the flour. Mix until it feels like breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, stir egg and milk together.
Add milk to the flour mixture.
Fold into a soft dough.
Use your scones cutter to cut out your dough.
Brush milk over dough before putting in the oven
(Preheat oven at 180' degrees. Line your pan with baking paper and bake for 15 mins or until golden brown)
